Hanging Gardens of Bali is set in the hub of Bali’s spiritual and cultural heartland, in a place as mystical and as old as time itself; a sanctuary to relax one’s body and soul.

Tri Hita Karana:

In Bali, the outlook and philosophy on life is called Tri Hita Karana, which translates to the Three Causes to Prosperity, bringing about harmonious relationships. This universal concept ties together the relationship of a person with God, their Surroundings and humanity. This lifestyle includes maintaining the balance of the spiritual and physical worlds, it helps take responsibility for our: life, relationships and environment.

Hanging Gardens of Bali was created and built in relationship to the Holy Segara Temple, facing exactly opposite on the other side of the valley providing a spiritual wonder for all to see.  This temple is the only “Hanging” temple out of the other 12,000 temples in Bali and the inspiration for the name “Hanging Gardens of Bali”.

Hanging Gardens of Bali is built in a steep jungle valley with the Holy Ayung River flowing through it. The Ayung River is the longest river in Bali. It runs 75 km from the northern mountain ranges and discharges into the Badung Strait at Sanur near Denpasar.

An award-wining Hotel, Hanging Gardens of Bali was also built based on the principals of Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese method of creating harmony and maximizing the flow of life force in the rooms and buildings through the correct placement of building structures, furniture and other objects. Feng Shui has been around in China and parts of Southeast Asia for thousands of years and the use of this ancient method of physical and spiritual harmony has been central to the resort’s philosophy of construction and harmony with its natural surroundings.

Surround yourself with nature and luxury as you practice the ancient art of classical Yoga and learn techniques that will enable you to still your mind, strengthen your body and expand your consciousness, through breathing, meditation and relaxation.

Located in the cultural heart of the island of the Gods, the Hanging Gardens of Bali is the quintessential luxury villa in Ubud that offers unrivaled accommodation, swimming pool, dining and hospitality experience.
